Orange Blossom Balloons Offers hot air balloon flights in the Disney World area 7 days a week at sunrise. 

Your adventure Begins with a pre-flight briefing. This is where your pilots are introduced and they explain exactly what is going to happen from how they inflate the balloons to when to get in and all the questions you care to ask. This quality time really puts the nervous flyer at ease. Next the teams are chosen. Passengers for the morning's flight are split into Red Team and Blue team. (Go blue team) Yes your invited to actually be part of the balloon team. This hands on approach really makes you feel as if you're a part of the balloon team, and is a lot of fun. 

The next step of the adventure is to choose the take off and landing sites. You see balloons travel only with the wind. So the selection of the take off site will have a lot to do with where you will come down. There are Lots of swamps in Florida so this seemed to be rather important. To do this the Orange Blossom Balloon team will step outside and launch a small toy helium balloon to track the wind currents for the morning. Your pilots will then decide what launch site they are going to us that day. All flyers then get on board the Orange Blossom Balloons chase vehicles and head out for the launch site. 

Once at the launch site the real excitement begins. the red team and blue team jump into action as the balloons are assembled and brought to life. Giant fans fill the balloons with air and with a roar of the burners your balloon comes to life.

Suddenly it is time to board your gateway to the heavens. Once all of the passengers are onboard the Pilots do their final flight checks as the Orange Blossom Balloons chase crew comes around and takes a photo with your camera for you before you go.

And this is just the beginning! You will be mystified as your balloon gently lifts off into the sky. The smoothness and lack of sensation of motion is really quite amazing. Balloons really do float. It is hard to believe but your not the least bit scared at all. There is not a fear of height in a balloon but you will have to try it to believe it.!

As you float across the beautiful Florida countryside your Expert Pilots will point out all of the amazing sites along the way. The Orange Blossom Balloon Team will try to fly over Disney (if the wind is right) and show you a totally different view of the Theme parks. The diversity of the Florida countryside is incredible. From theme parks, to hotels, The orange groves and YES Swamps. Areas totally untouched by human hands. We descended into one area and felt like we had stepped out of a time machine 1,000 years ago.

The pilot's ability to control the altitude of the balloon is absolutely miraculous. They can take you thousands of feet for a view that is nothing short of breathtaking or take you down to the treetops to pick leaves. If your lucky you might even get a souvenir pine cone. 

The Flight will last for an hour but you wont want to come down. After landing you and your new teammates will celebrate your adventure with the traditional Champagne toast. Your Pilots will tell you a tale of how ballooning began and how champagne became part of the tradition. 

After your toast you begin to realize that your real hungry, No worry, You and your new found friends are going back for an all you can eat breakfast buffet. The breakfast includes just about everything you could want. During breakfast you and your balloon teammates are awarded your first flight certificate signed by your Pilot. A wonderful souvenir you can show to prove to all your friends' back home that you really did fly like an eagle.

The Orange Blossom Balloons adventure is scheduled every morning at 6 am and you should be done before the theme parks even open up. Flights are weather dependent and all passengers are asked to check in the night before their flight to check the weather forecast for the next morning.
